NO ENQUIRIES ON PASSPORT/VISA OR CONSULAR SERVICES WILL BE ENTERTAINED ON PHONE

The High Commission of India has decided to outsource Passport collection with effect from 22 January, 2009. Visa collection, which has been outsourced since September 2007, would be expanded by adding three more collection centers. With effect from 22 January 2009, Passport and Visa applications should be submitted to the following authorized Passport and Visa collection centers :

S$9.00 per application would be charged by Passport/Visa collection centers as service charges in addition to prescribed passport/visa fees.

Please note all passport, visa and consular services are discretionary and can be refused without assigning any reason. Furnishing false particulars or concealing information can lead to denial of service. 

Visa services will not be provided if validity of passport is less than six months. Also ensure that minimum two pages are available on the passport when applying for visa. This is important and not to be overlooked.

Please ensure that your application is in prescribed format and properly filled in, is accompanied by all required documentation, including the required number of coloured passport sized photographs where necessary. Ensure that signatures are given wherever required.
Please check the spelling of name, dates etc in the passport/ visa or other documents carefully at the time of collection of document from the center. While every care is taken to ensure that  there are no mistakes, however, it is advised, the applicants to check, before leaving the counter, all filled in details on the passport, visas and documents are correct to avoid any hardship. In case any error is detected it should be promptly brought to the notice of the concerned officer
Despite best efforts errors do happen which could pose formidable problems and unintended hardship for the applicant.

Applicants   for travel documents in lieu of lose/damaged passports and passport applicants   in extreme emergency cases may approach High Commission.
